Thanks for visiting! My name is Claire and I am a Toronto native, however I’m a simple gal and the hustle and bustle of Toronto has never fit my laid back personality. More then likely, you can find me playing outside. I am the content creator behind ClaireVoyage. It’s lovely to meet you!

Travel is my one true passion, and I hope that my stories can inspire others to take a leap of faith (or book that plane ticket).

So how did this all start? When I was twenty I moved away from home to a small resort town called Jasper, located in Alberta, Canada. I’ll be talking a lot more about Jasper in the blog as it hugely influenced the person I am today, but check out Tourism Jasper Instagram page if you haven’t heard of this stunning little town! The moment I laid my eyes on snow-capped mountains and glacier fed lakes, I was at a loss of words. From that moment on, I knew what I wanted to do with my life. Do more. See more. Live more. This was the first time in my life that I had been surrounded by such like-minded people. I felt like I was home.

Graduating university was a confusing time in my life. Many of my friends were beginning to shift their priorities and build their careers. For me, graduation meant total freedom. I could finally do all of the things that I had dreamed about for so many years. Where to first? A road trip down the Oregon coast to California, with one of my best friends of course. We decided to “leave the hairspray, and bring the bear spray”.

When the travel bug bites, it bites hard. From there I packed my bags for South America. I spent four beautiful months exploring Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia and Ecuador with nothing but a backpack.

I recently returned from my very first solo trip around the globe, visiting Portugal, Croatia, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. I don’t want to spoil too much so that’s all I’ll say for now!
